In Gimme Field:
- On the Schedule page, select the POS for the vending machine you would like to service
- Click the red three-dot menu and select Service
- Get DEX
You can begin servicing by completing the actions down the list: a green checkmark will appear once the action is complete
- Spot check: take current inventory of the suggested products
- Add Products: Scan products to add to the machine
- Waste Products: record how many spoiled products were removed from the machine
- Collect Money: Enter a moneybag number for a collect visit; this will not come up for a service visit.
- Change/Refund: record the amount of change and money refunded
- Take Photo: take pictures of the vending machine after filling it and the products that you will be bringing back
- *Meter: Enter the meter value for the machine (found in the DEX file)
- *The meter entry will display on machines that are not DEX capable or if DEX fails
Click the < in the top left corner of the screen
To complete the vend visit, you must complete all actions on the To Do checklist
Once all of the bubbles contain a green checkmark, you will notice the visit will move from To-Do to Completed on the Schedule screen
Planogram View
- Similar to Gimme Drive, Gimme Field offers a planogram view of the vending machine
- You can complete most of your checklist for the visit from this screen
OR
Work through the checklist on the To Do screen
- However you decide to work the vend visit, the checklist must be completed or the visit will remain incomplete and your supervisor will be…displeased
To Do Checklist
Spot check: document current inventory of the suggested products
The suggested list won’t exceed 10 items unless:
- The point of sale is scheduled to be inventoried
- You are unable to get DEX
- The point of sale type is labled as a “Food”
Add Products: products picked for this POS, confirm products and quantities
Waste Products: record how many spoiled products were removed from the machine
Collect Money: Enter a money bag number for a collect visit
- If the visit is scheduled as “service” you will not see this on your checklist
- If you physically collect money and do not change the visit from service to collect before completing the visit, it will cause confusion for the money room (more on this in slide 28)
Change/Refund: record the amount of change and money refunded
*Meter: Enter the meter value for the machine (found in the DEX file)
The meter entry will NOT display on the checklist if the machine is DEX capable and/or not labeled as a Food point of sale
The meter entry will display on machines if DEX fails, machine is not DEX capable, or is a Food machine
Take Photo:
Two photos are required
Once all of the checkmarks are green, on the Schedule screen, the visit will move from To-Do to Completed
Visits will auto-sync to Gimme VMS with a network connection (mobile network or Wi-Fi).
It is important to leave your app open until your progress bar is at 100% and all visits on the Completed side are green and do not say Syncing
