Tax-Exempt Products

Gimme VMS supports tax-exempt products

From the Settings page:

1. Click Product Families
2. Click Add Product Family
3. Add a new product family called Tax Exempt

Next:

1. Go to the product you want to be tax-exempt
2. Click Edit
3. Add the Tax Exempt product family label
4. Click Next

Next:

1. Go to the Taxes page
2. Click Add Tax
3. Enter code, description, state and county (if needed)
4. Click Add Tax
5. Click Add Tax Rule
6. Select Tax Exempt from the product family list
7. Enter the same code used in #3
8. Enter the same description used in #3
9. Choose the service you want to add the rule to (Vending, Micromarket, or Delivery)
10. Set your Tax Rate
11. Click Done and then Next
